Diet plans are an area where even the experts don’t agree, as you’ll find a broad range of theories and opinions on what works best. Books that portray themselves as the best solution for dieting are often contradicted by other bestsellers that seem to be stating the exact opposite weight-loss solution. To help clarify these issues, we’ll be considering some dieting principles and why some diets will work better for you than others. The Diet Solution Program Natural foods that are organic, have many reasons for being on everyone’s list of foods, and losing weight is one of them. There are, of course, other factors that must be recognized, such as how many calories you consume and getting regular exercise, but organic food can help your body function more efficiently. Diet Plans Very low calorie diets can carry benefits, especially in those people who are very overweight and as a result of this have medical problems. It is best, however, to get supervision from your doctor before going on a diet like this as there are risks, like side effects, malnutrition and dehydration.

Some research indicates that there are no proven benefits to a very low calorie diet as opposed to a merely low calorie diet. On a typical low calorie diet you can eat between 800 and 1500 calories each day, whereas a very low calorie diet limits you at 800 calories or less. Initial weight loss is usually greater if you’re on a VLCD, but much of this is due to fluid loss. After a few months, however, studies suggest that a VLCD is no more effective than a low calorie diet for losing weight. Additionally, a VLCD can cause some not very nice side effects, which include headaches, fatigue, hair loss and dry skin. Even though a very low calorie diet might be best in cases where there’s a medical reason, a normal low calorie diet will probably be most comfortable for people looking to lose weight. Ideal Weight It would seem that the most likely low cal food would be a salad. This is pretty much accurate. Salads are certainly a good low cal food until you inundate it with a lot of high calorie things. A few of the additions that are not healthy and take away the healthy aspect might be nuts, cheeses, bacon, etc. Fruits and vegetables can add valuable nutrients without a lot of calories and are tasty as well; then if you are able to cut you dressing intake you will make a difference. Instead of using oil to cook your food, cook it in a little bit of chicken, beef or vegetable stock instead. This is how you can eat great tasting foods that are low in calories; just like we said you could do. It all depends on what you are preparing, and so you may have to still use a little bit of oil, but in moderation is really not a problem. A single teaspoon of these oils can add as many as forty extra calories to your food.
